Slavia Prague won an important victory over Karvina 3-1 on the eighth day of the Chance League, preparing for their arrival in the Champions League. Lukáš Vorlický’s individual performance (23 years) was decisive, with two crucial goals at the end of the game. Coach Henrý Trpíšovský (49 years old) praised Vorlický’s offensive potential, while noting reservations about its defensive strength. He stressed that Karvina represented a major physical and tactical challenge for Slavia, and that victory was a validation of their preparation in terms of speed and football.
The game started with a goal from Mojmír, but Karvina managed to equalize before half time. Despite several opportunities to take advantage, Slavia failed to realize her opportunities. The second half was marked by increased offensive intensity, with Vorlický as the main catalyst. His first goal, in the 67th minute, allowed Slavia to regain the advantage, followed by another goal that sealed the victory. Trpíšovský stressed the importance of this victory for the morale of the team, especially given the past injuries of Vorlický.
The coach also highlighted the successful integration of Daiki Hashioka, who scored Slavia’s first goal and demonstrated good compatibility with David Doudera. He praised the contribution of the replacement players, including Vasil Kuše and David Doudera on the right side, as well as Christos Zafeiřís’ contribution. Vorlický, visibly moved, expressed his personal joy and pride after overcoming difficult wounds. He also highlighted the support of his family, friends and teammates, and recognized the importance of mental resilience to succeed in football.
