Vlahovic Inter Barcelona and Esposito rising star

Inter Milan and Barcelona are fighting the talented Juventus attacker, Dusan Vlahovic, who will leave Turin at the end of the season. The 25-year-old, whose contract expires in less than 12 months, is courted by several major European clubs. Despite his imminent start, Vlahovic made a strong season with the Juventus, contributing to their efforts in Serie A and the Champions League, notably in the match against Borussia Dortmund. Inter Milan, under the leadership of President Beppe Marotta, is one of the three clubs most interested in its acquisition, but competition from Atletico Madrid and Manchester United could complicate the task.

Inter Milan’s recent victory against the Ajax in the Champions League highlighted the young attacker Francesco Pio Esposito, whose intelligence and vision were praised by coach Fabio Capello. Esposito, 20 years old, took advantage of Lautaro Martinez’s injury to prove himself, offering a promising performance despite a limited playing time in Serie A. Capello emphasized his exceptional ball control, his ability to read the game and his positioning, considering him as a player capable of performing on the European stage. With the uncertainty surrounding the availability of Lautaro Martinez for the next match against Sassuolo, Esposito could get his first start in Serie A.

In contrast, Nicolo Barella did not match his usual performances in the match against the Juventus, leaving much to be desired according to the analysis. Despite its important role in the team, the midfielder lacked energy and coolness in key moments. Other players like Stefan de Vrij shone, forming a solid defensive wall with Alessandro Bastoni and Manuel Akanji. Coach Cristian Chivu, despite Barella’s mixed performance, does not seem ready to give up his original composition.
