Inter Milan dominates Serie A in terms of revenue from the sponsorship contracts for jerseys, surpassing even its Milanese rivals AC Milan and Juventus. According to data from the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazurro club draws 41 million euros from its jersey sponsors, with Betsso leading the list thanks to an agreement estimated at 30 million euros. Door of the sponsor of the sleeves (io) contributes to 6 million euros, while U-Power adds 5 million euros. AC Milan follows closely with 40 million euros, thanks to its long-standing sponsorship contracts with Emirates, MSC and Bitpanda. Juventus, third this season, has a more modest turnover of jersey sponsorship, partly due to UEFA/FIFA restrictions on the co-sponsor “Visite Detroit” visible only during the League matches. The other two major Italian clubs, Roma and Lazio, did not hire a jersey sponsor for the 2025-26 season.
Several Inter Milan key players are about to see their contracts expire in June 2026, raising questions about their future at the club. The goaltender Yann Sommer is particularly monitored, after a mixed performance against the Juventus and an exceptional performance against the Ajax. Inter seems reluctant to offer him a new contract, given the investment in his replacement, Josep Martinez. Other players like Raffaele Di Gennaro, Matteo Darmian, Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij are also close to the end of their contracts, and everyone’s future is uncertain. Henrikh Mkhitaryan, another experienced player, should also not renew his contract, having considered retirement last season.
TeleLombardia journalist Fabio Ravezzani criticized Juventus coach Igor Tudor for his hypocritical attitude after the arbitral decisions in the match against Verona. Tudor complained about decisions he called “shameful” and “disgraceful” after the 1-1 draw. Ravezzani stressed that arbitral decisions are often controversial and can benefit or disadvantage teams. Some of Inter’s supporters felt that the Juventus’ victory at the Italian derby should have been refused because of an unheard mistake. The match incident also involved a contact between Inter Khephren Thuram and Juventus Ange-Yoan Bonnny, but the game continued, allowing the Juventus to win.
