Monaco wins final match against Auxerre

AS Monaco won a tough victory against AJ Auxerre (2-1) on 4th day of Ligue 1. The Monegasque team, led by its coach Adi Hütter, managed to win despite a tough match, with an Auxerre who even had an expelled player. Hütter expressed satisfaction with the result and stressed the importance of these three points in linking the club to the top of the standings, on an equal footing with PSG and OL. He also announced the imminent return of Ansou Fati, scheduled for the next match against Bruges, while stressing the need to manage the fatigue of the team. The defence, particularly with the integration of Aladji Bamba, was praised by the coach.
