PSG aims to double against Atalanta and Lee's return

Wednesday evening, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will face Atalanta Bergame at the Parc des Princes as part of the Champions League. Atalanta coach Ivan Juric expresses his admiration and respect for his Parisian counterpart, Luis Enrique, for the recent European success of the PSG. For its part, Marten de Roon, midfielder of Atalanta, anticipates a difficult meeting and insists on the need for his team to show immense courage to resist the attacks of the PSG. Luis Enrique, coach of the PSG, does not hide his will to win the double Champions League and championship.

The arrival of new players in the Paris locker room is seen positively by Marquinhos, captain of the PSG. He sees competition as an engine for the team and for himself, stressing the importance of competition to stimulate player progress. Marquinhos highlights the transmission of his experience to young talents like Illia Zabarnyi, and stresses the importance of team spirit and mutual support. He recalls the values instilled by his mother, advocating mutual assistance even towards competitors.

The PSG can also count on the return of Kang-In Lee, a Korean offensive medium, after an ankle injury. His return to training and his possible tenure offer an additional solution to the Parisian offensive sector, especially in the absence of Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé. However, Lucas Beraldo, a Brazilian defender, suffers from a sprain of the left ankle and will miss the next two important matches: the trip to Atalanta and the Classic against the Olympique de Marseille.
